Location Description Sorrento

The villa is ok but a car is essential and be warned the access road is so narrow and twisty it is more like a footpath with a wall at both sides in some parts. A fiat 500 or Panda are the maximum width car you should hire. I feel this should be made more obvious when booking. The shower base is not a bath as the photos would lead you to believe. It is a very strange shower base of 2 levels and dangerous to use. I lost my balance trying to turn around and there is no grab rail.

The directions to the villa were awful and need to include a map. The shower base is like a tiny bath with 2 levels which makes it dangerous as it's impossible to keep balance and there is no wall grip to steady yourself. The single track road to the villa is so narrow in places your wing mirrors are about 25mm from the wall and if another car comes in the opposite direction "good luck" The TV needs instructions but albeit promised were never supplied. I stated I was travelling with my daughter but only one bedroom was ready for occupation which meant I had to sort the linen and make a bed on arrival. The villa is good but there is only one plug socket in the kitchen so you have to plug the toaster out to use the kettle and then plug out again to use the coffee maker and so on, irritating and could easily be sorted. Mosquitos are rampant especially in the garden. If you book this villa hire a car such as a Fiat 500 or Panda as nothing larger will fit the road.
