Large, beautiful, historical villa "Casa Frati", from the 15th century, renovated, surrounded by fields and vineyards. 2 apartments in the property. 6 km from the centre of San Quirico d'Orcia, in a secluded, quiet position on top of a hill. Private: property, garden 4'600 m2 (not fenced) with lawn, swimming pool (6 x 12 m, depth 140 - 180 cm, seasonal availability: 07.Apr. - 15.Oct.). Hot tub, barbecue. In the house: internet access, sauna (extra). Washing machine. House maid on request (extra). Motor access (1 km via unmade road). Parking on the premises. Cosy, historical village with 2'500 inhabitants, in the south-eastern part of the region, on top of a hill, in an idyllic position with beautiful view, 50 km south-east from Siena. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Thermal bath oder hot springs, health cures at 3 km.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas Besonderes, als ehemaliges Kloster und einem großen Garten mit tollem Pool und traumhaftem Ausblick. Es ist nicht alles in Top Zustand, nicht "alt auf edel gemacht", sondern authentisch antik. Der einzige Wehrmutstropfen war, dass es Mäuse im Haus gab! Deren Kot war sogar im Bett zu finden - das darf nicht sein. Der freundliche Verwalter hat sofort Mäusefallen und Staubsauger gebracht.

Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön gelegen und lädt so richtig zum Erholen ein. Was gibt es schöneres, als ein gutes Glas Wein in dieser ruhigen Umgebung zu geniessen? Die Wohnung ist sauber und der Pool perfekt um abzukühlen. Wäre gerne länger geblieben.

Das Haus ist wunderbar gelegen, eingebettet im Val d‘Orcia welches zum Weltkulturerbe gehört. Das Haus ist eine Toskanische Villa wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Mit großem Umschwung um z.B Federball spielen zu können. Meine Familie und ich besuchten die Toskana Anfang Oktober, da ist es am Abend schon sehr kalt. Unbedingt genügend warme Kleider mitbringen es wird erst ab Ende Oktober geheizt! Auf Nachfrage, wurden uns Wolldecken zu Verfügung gestellt. Die Ausstattung der Küche mit ist mässig gut.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in traumhafter Lage hat man das Haus über die leider sehr schlechte Zufahrt einmal erreicht, eröffnet sich ein wundervoller Blick über die toskanische Landschaft. Das Haus ist groß und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Es gibt einen schönen Infinity-Pool, eine Sauna, einen großen Grill und Pizzaofen. Leider sind Whirlpool und Sauna zusätzlich kostenpflichtig, was bei dem Gesamtpreis etwas ärgerlich ist. Ansonsten aber ein wundervolles Ferienhaus in traumhafter Umgebung.

Très rustique, mais facile à vivre. Très à l’écart des axes et des sites mais environnement superbe. Équipement de la maison un peu juste. Semaine très agréable.

Ruim huis met een ongelooflijk prachtig uitzicht. Het zwembad was heerlijk en werd heel goed onderhouden . Zomer '22 was snikheet en de schaduw van de bomen was welkom. De vele olijfbomen kreunden echter van de droogte. Mooie dorpjes op enkele km. Een auto is echt nodig. Er is wel achterstallig onderhoud nodig. Veel lampen deden het niet. Overal veel ongedierte, maar dat is op het platteland misschien wel gewoon. Op het eind geweigerd om extra te betalen voor het bubbelbad want inbegrepen.

Prachtig gelegen, authentiek huis met unieke vergezichten en een geweldig zwembad. Ruime vertrekken, in stijl ingericht. Erg gezellig dorpje, met kruidenier, café, wijnbar, slager, bakker, pastamaker... op wandelafstand.

Casa Frati is exactly what our small group was looking for. An idyllic house set on the perfect hillside with stunning views - worth getting up for a sunrise. Kitchen has everything you need with a great indoor and outdoor eating area. Rooms and showers were also all a good size. The house is designed to give groups two separate, private areas if needed. Not hard to find with enough small restaurants in a short 5-10 min driving distance. Just beware no screens on the windows and gets buggy.
