In the centre of Montepulciano, in a central position, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, in the heart of the city, traffic calmed area, in a pedestrian area. 300 m steep footpath to the house. Public car park at 200 m, public parking, extra. Shop, grocery 100 m, supermarket 500 m, restaurant, bar, bakery 100 m, café 100 m, pedestrian zone 20 m, 1 minute walk to the centre, bus stop 300 m, railway station "Montepulciano Scalo" 9 km, outdoor swimming pool 5 km, indoor swimming pool 5 km, thermal baths "Chianciano Terme" 15 km, bathing lake "Trasimeno" 20 km. Golf course (9 hole) 20 km. Nearby attractions: Pienza 23 km, Cortona 23 km, Siena 60 km, Orvieto 67 km, Montalcino 45 km. Please note: baby equipment (included). Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. The apartment is located in a zone with limited traffic.

Location Description Montepulciano

600 m a.s.l. >>One can admire several Renaissance-style buildings along the main road which winds up to the highest point of the historic town centre of Montepulciano, situated on a limestone elevation over the Chianti valley. Outside the walls, on the other hand, is the San Biagio church, a well-known example from this era. The "Nobile di Montepulciano" is produced in the area, one of Tuscany's great red wines. Well-known, historical resort with 13'000 inhabitants, in the eastern part of the region 20 km from Lago Trasimeno, on top of a hill with beautiful view, 60 km south-east from Siena, 50 km south from Arezzo, 105 km south-east from Firenze. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Thermal bath oder hot springs, health cures at 9 km.

Das Haus befindet sich mitten in Montepulciano und ist trotzdem durch seine Lage ruhig

Zwei tolle Wochen in MontepulcianoConrad C.

Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen. Die Einrichtung Küche, Wohnzimmer, Bad, Waschküche war gut und funktional. Das Bett war komfortabel und wir konnten gut darin schlafen (der Fuss vorne links müsste mal überprüft werden). WLAN immer verfügbar. Die Wohnung ist mitten im Herzen von Montepulciano, eingebaut in ein altes Haus. Kein Luxushaus aber empfehlenswert! Der Zugang von der Strasse ist ziemlich steil, nichts für Senioren.

The lodgings were cute and cozy, with a lot of charm and a nicely functional kitchen. The second toilet is located downstairs, in the laundry room, just off the foyer. The location is good but the directions for finding it, not so much. The beds need new mattresses as there is a valley on one side, making for a very uncomfortable sleeping experience. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if they have new mattresses.
