Siena: Comfortable single-family house "Casa Calise", 2 storeys, renovated in 2023. 500 m from the centre of Siena, in the district San Prospero, in a secluded position residential area (villas). Single garage at the house. Shop 100 m, supermarket 100 m, restaurant 200 m, 5 minute walk to the centre, bus stop 5 m, railway station 2 km. Please note: baby equipment (included). The owner does not accept any youth groups.

Location Description Siena

320 m a.s.l. >>This main town of Tuscan Gothic has retained its centre virtually unspoilt since its heydey in the high Middle Ages. The heart of the town is the Piazza del Campo with its characteristic mussel shape, where the "Palio" takes place twice a year, a famous historic event with horse-racing. Also to see: the wonderful cathedral and several important museums. Important, historical town with 50'000 inhabitants, in the centre of the region, on top of a hill, 65 km south from Firenze. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort.

Overall, property was adequate, at best. Zero amenities, such as bathroom soap and trash cans, coffee filters, laundry detergent, extra toilet paper. Towels were VERY worn, thin, and stained. Bed in third bedroom was smaller than a twin and extremely uncomfortable for anyone. When we notified the owner, no effort was made to remedy the situation and we were told these things are NEVER provided for this property. Rent this property at your own risk.

Thank you for the feedback. The owner is correct in confirming that we do not supply any perishable goods towards hygiene, food preparations, or cleaning. In case towels are stained however, guests can request for replacements. As for the comfort of beds, these are often individual by preference, we regret that this time we could not accommodate your comfort in this.
