The rooms are simply and functionally furnished. Country house "Il Poggetto". 3.2 km from the centre of Mercatale in Val di Pesa, 29 km from the centre of Firenze, 60 km from the centre of Siena, in a quiet, sunny position, in the countryside. Private: garden 300 m2, swimming pool (6 x 12 m, depth 185 - 120 cm, seasonal availability: 03.May. - 27.Sep.). Pergola, barbecue. In the house: internet access, heating to be paid on the spot, heating available only from 01.Nov. - 07.Apr.. Motor access to the house (1.5 km via unmade road). Parking on the premises. Das Ferienhaus war traumhaft gelegen, jedoch war die Anfahrt etwas kompliziert. Es ist ein steiler Schotterweg, der nicht ganz einfach zu fahren ist. Dennoch lohnt sich die Anfahrt für die Lage die man dann bekommt. Der Pool wurde zwischen unserem Aufenthalt nicht gesäubert, weshalb er gegen Ende der Woche dreckig war. Die Mieterin war sehr nett und hat sich gut gekümmert.

The house can best be described as functional. It serves well for 10 people, but there are definitely improvements possible. The pool is large and was much used. Breakfast & dinner outside was great in the large enough garden. The absolute biggest asset: an astonishing 270 degrees view from the house on a hill. No better way to position a holiday house. Sufficient nice villages around, great cycling roads and dining opportunities. Downside: very bumpy road to the house. Overall: recommended!!!

Das Ferienhaus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Ausstattung (Gläser) dürften wieder einmal ersetzt werden. Die Badezimmer eher umständlich, vorallem die Duschen, duschen ist in keinem Badezimmer möglich, ohne dass das ganze Badezimmer komplett nass ist. Man sollte wissen, wenn man dieses Ferienhaus bucht, dass es im näherem Umkreis ( 20min ) kein Restaurant gibt, also ein Auto ist zwingend! Weiter sollte unserer Meininung nach, die Zufahrt dringend ausgebessert werden (Schlaglöcher)

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal in dieser Unterkunft und würden auch wieder hinfahren. Um Belange wurde sich umgehend gekümmert, so dass es nichts auszusetzen gab.

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es gab ausreichend Geschirr, Besteck, Gläser und die Ausstattung mit Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, Backofen, Mikrowelle und Kaffeemaschine, Sandwich Maker etc.. Der Pool war groß und es gab genügend Liegen und Liegestühle. Es gibt eine große überdachte Terrasse mit großem Tisch, wo man gemütlich essen kann und die Landschaft genießen kann. Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist die abenteuerliche Anfahrt mit einigen massiven Löchern. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub.

Casa pulita e ben tenuta con bella vista sulle vigne dotata di piscina e ampio giardino molto gradevoli. L’unico problema, purtroppo non da poco, è la strada di campagna per giungere alla casa, raggiungibile esclusivamente dal centro di Mercatale dopo 15 minuti circa di sterrato. La strada presenta molti pietroni e tratti in pendenza che rendono difficoltosa la sua percorrenza se non si è in possesso di fuoristrada, 4x4 o comunque macchine con un’altezza da terra abbastanza significativa.
