320 m a.s.l. >>San Gimignano is famous as the town of many towers. It has been awarded the UNESCO World Heritage status, there are only 15 remaining towers out of 75, it is the symbol of Medieval Tuscany and within its town walls man can still imagine the life of ancient times. Famous, historical resort with 7'000 inhabitants, in the centre of the region, on top of a hill with beautiful view, 45 km south-west from Firenze, 40 km north-west from Siena. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort.

Die Ferienwohnungen lagen nochmals etwa 1 km weiter von der Fattoria. Insgesamt war die Ferienanlage nur über sehr schlecht befahrbare, teils sehr steile Schotterwege zu erreichen. In der Umgebung gab es nichts, um in einem Lokal zu Essen oder Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs einzukaufen. Die Wohnung selber hatte eine nicht so tolle Ausstattung. Wir hatten zu wenig Geschirr und Besteck. Auch fehlten überall Steckdosen. Alles in Allem herrscht hier ein deutlicher Renovierungsstau.

Top Lage mit wunderschönen Blick auf San Gimignano. Allerdings wie in der Anzeige beschrieben 2 km vom Ort entfernt und einzig über Feldwege erreichbar.
