The house, completely renovated by a former hayloft, is situated in the Chianti hills just a short distance from San Gimignano, famous for its medieval towers. Villa "Alba", detached. 3 km from the centre of San Gimignano, 31 km from the centre of Volterra, 45 km from the centre of Siena, in a quiet, sunny position, in the countryside. Private: garden 500 m2 (fenced), swimming pool (11 x 6 m, depth 140 cm, seasonal availability: 17.May. - 04.Oct.). Outdoor shower, garden furniture, barbecue. Heating to be paid on the spot, heating available only from 01.Nov. - 07.Apr.. Motor access to the house (800 m via unmade road). Parking on the premises. Supermarket 3 km, restaurant 3 km, bus stop 1 km. Golf course (18 hole) 22 km. Nearby attractions: Certaldo 12 km, Colle Val d'Elsa 17 km, Monteriggioni 29 km, Castellina in Chianti 36 km, Radda in Chianti, Greve in Chianti 44 km, Firenze 56 km.

320 m a.s.l. >>San Gimignano is famous as the town of many towers. It has been awarded the UNESCO World Heritage status, there are only 15 remaining towers out of 75, it is the symbol of Medieval Tuscany and within its town walls man can still imagine the life of ancient times. Famous, historical resort with 7'000 inhabitants, in the centre of the region, on top of a hill with beautiful view, 45 km south-west from Firenze, 40 km north-west from Siena. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort.

We hebben ons hier helemaal thuis gevoeld. Mede dankzij de eigenaar die erg behulpzaam en gastvrij is. Het huis is prachtig gelegen en van alle gemakken voorzien. Schoon, een compleet uitgeruste keuken, een HEERLIJK zwembad, adembenemend uitzicht en prima bedden. Wat de vakantie nog had kunnen toppen was een airco omdat we er in een hittegolf zaten. De weg naar het huis toe is slecht aangelegd maar rustig rijden en dan is er niks aan de hand. Wij hebben met volle teugen genoten!!!

Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft schön und sehr ruhig. Trotzdem sind es mit dem Auto nur ca. 5 Minuten bis San Gimignano - oder ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Haus wurde von Marta, Miteigentümerin und Architektin, liebevoll geplant und mit historischen Baumaterialien wieder aufgebaut. Pierluigi, Miteigentümer und Ehemann von Martha, kümmert sich sehr intensiv um alle Belange des Hauses und realisierte sehr schnell alle unsere Wünsche. Die beiden Eigentümer, Marta und Pierluigi, haben meine Frau und ich als besonders liebenswerte und sympathische Menschen kennengelernt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Das Haus ist super! Es ist groß, der Garten und die Terrasse laden zum Verweilen ein und der Ausblick ist 1 A! Der Pool ist wirklich groß. Manchmal denkt man ja: Auf dem Foto wurde einfach nur ein guter Winkel erwischt. Aber der Pool ist wirklich riesig. Die Küche war toll ausgestattet, wie daheim. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 5 Personen und hatten dort ausreichend Platz und Ruhe. Der Vermieter ist super nett und herzallerliebst - er hat uns sogar an einem Morgen Croissants gebracht. Alles in allem, kann ich das Haus empfehlen! Ein Hinweis: Man ist nur mit einem Auto mobil. Der nächste Ort ist zu Fuß ca. 35 min entfernt.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Villa Alba sehr genossen - vielen Dank an P., der uns herzlich willkommen geheißen hat und sehr hilfsbereit war! Tanti saluti da U. Das Haus (toll eingerichtet), der Pool (groß genug zum wunderbar Schwimmen) und die Lage (ruhig und abgeschieden, aber nicht weit von San Gimignano) sind perfekt für einen angenehmen und entspannten Urlaub. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge.

Das Haus ist sehr schön hergerichtet, sehr sauber, bestens ausgestattet ( auch für Kinder) und verfügt über einen großen Pool. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch und San Gimignano ist ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Die Gastgeber sind supernett und kümmern sich sehr gut um das Haus und die Reinigung des Pools! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!

Idéale pour être au calme et se reposer sans être trop éloigné des villes à visiter comme San Gimignano, Sienne, Volettera ou Florence. Il faudrait un lave-vaisselle pour que ce soit parfait. C’est une maison agréable.

Die Casa Alba ist ein absoluter Traum. Das Haus ist gross, der Pool perfekt und die abgeschirmte Umgebung gibt sehr viel Privatsphäre. Die Lage ist top, mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten in San Gimignano und die Stätde Sien, Volterra, Florenz sind in 45 minuten erreichbar. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich, wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an wohl. R.
