Location Description Camaiore

34 m a.s.l. >>Camaiore, situated in a basin surrounded by hills at the foot of the Apuanian Alps, has an historic town centre within the old town walls which is home to many handicraft shops. Numerous festivals and markets are held here in summer where art craftsmen and dealers are represented from all over Italy. Well-known, historical, busy resort with 30'000 inhabitants, in the north-western part of the region 8 km from the sea, in a convenient position, 25 km north-west from Lucca, 10 km north from Viareggio. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort.

Summer

The town of Camaiore was founded by the Romans, in the Middle Ages it was important to stop the FRANCIGENA. At 12 km the Versilia with its famous sandy beaches, shops and popular tourist attractions. A 12 km Pietrasanta and his art, where Michelangelo was staying when he went to Carrara (35 km).

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter, jederzeit erreichbar. Haus ist völlig ausreichend, allerdings ist der Weg (das letzte Stück) sehr sehr schmal/steil/kurvig und für große Autos nicht leicht zu befahren. Es gibt aber einen Parkplatz (kl. Fußmarsch bergauf). Man hat Ruhe auf dem Grundstück und kann entspannen. Moskitos gibt es reichlich.

Super Gastgeber, immer hilfsbereit, viele Infos und sehr freundlich. Einrichtung war vollständig und das gesamte Haus sehr sauber, toller Ausblick. Die Zufahrt schwierig. Tagsüber haben sehr wenige Läden offen. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig . Achtung Moskitos!

Wir sind mit unseren zwei Kindern im Juli 2024 für drei Wochen hier gewesen und es hat einfach alles gestimmt. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war reibungslos und er war für jede Frage zu haben. Alles war mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten als auch der wunderschöne Strand gut erreichbar. Wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal.

Zum ersten Mal Urlaub in der ToskanaJörg M.

Unser erster Aufenthalt und Urlaub in der Toskana war so schön, dass wir das Land, die Provinz und die Leute in unser Herz geschlossen haben. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und zwischen Olivenbäumen gelegen. Die Zufahrt ist für größere Autos nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen, da es einmal sehr eng und die Gefahr von Kratzern hoch ist. Der Vermieter hat aber alternative Parkmöglichkeiten empfohlen, welche nicht sehr weit vom Haus entfernt sind.

Sehr charmantes HausJürgen E.

Wir haben zwei herrliche Wochen im April 2024 in diesem besonderen Haus in der nördlichen Toskana verbracht. Es liegt neben einem kleinen Künstlerdorf, mitten in den Olivenhainen und ist sehr persönlich eingerichtet. Der Vermieter hat uns bestens betreut. In Lucca und Pisa ist man schnell, nach Florenz braucht man etwas mehr als 1 Stunde. Zum Mittelmeer ( Lido de Camaiore ) benötigt man ca 20 Minuten. Ein Problem: Konnten mit unserem Bulli nicht direkt zum Haus fahren. PKW ist kein Problem
