The holiday chalet is located in a quiet holiday home district near the village center of Amden. Restaurants, a café, supermarkets, the Mattstock chairlift and the pretty indoor pool in Amden are all within walking distance. There is a parking space in front of the house. And skiing is not far either: the family ski area with ski school can be reached in 10 minutes by bus or car. From the garden or the balcony, the view sweeps over the incredibly beautiful mountains. "Arunachala" means "Hill of Dawn" - a homage to the wonderful morning moods over Walensee. Amden stretches across the lovely Ammler mountain hollow at around 1,000 meters and at its base lies the turquoise blue Walensee. In this location, lake and mountain are situated in an unbeatable combination: a visit is worthwhile in every season. Pleasant bathing spots along the Walensee entice swimmers, along with the snowy mountain landscape around Amden. In autumn - the colorful season - a large number of hiking trails invite you to take an extended tour and in spring one of the highest waterfalls in Europe bubbles with enormous amounts of water. Our tip: A trip to the Durschlegi viewpoint above Amden. From this vantage point, the magnificent panorama can be admired in a 360° perspective. In addition, the barbecue areas are perfect for leisurely enjoying hours in comfort. By the way, our area is well located for excursions in the region: within a maximum of one hour you can reach Zurich, Chur in Graubünden, St. Gallen or the rose town of Rapperswil on Lake Zurich.
