Location Description Ascona

196 m a.s.l. >>Ascona is the lowest-lying town in Switzerland. It lies 196 metres above sea level on the northern shore of Lake Maggiore. Ascona is famous for its old town, the southern lakeside promenade with its street cafés and its mild climate. In Ascona's old town centre, Borgo, lies the impressive church of San Pietro e Paolo, a pillared basilica from the 16th century, whose high bell tower is the landmark of the holiday resort. The branching old town streets lead to the car-free lakeside promenade with charming street cafés. Above Ascona lies Monte Verità, the mountain of truth. Sehr freundliche Administration/Betreuer vor Ort; es hat alles reibungslos geklappt auch bei Anreise an einem bürofreien Tag. Wohnung sehr sauber, gut und stilvoll renovierte Balkone, aber ein deutliches Manko - bei den doch hohen Preisen ist in der Wohnung eine Polstergarnitur, deren Sessel größere Löcher aufweisen und die mit Fleecedecken verschämt kaschiert sind - das ist peinlich.

Sehr schöne Aussicht. Ferienwohnung gut eingerichtet. Lediglich die An-/Abreise mit dem ÖV ist anstrengend den Berg rauf.

Cet appartement ne mérite pas 4 étoiles. 4 étoiles pour la situation, la vue et le service disponible de 8:00 à 10:00 dans l'immeuble c'est OK. Par contre les meubles très usés ne justifient pas le 4 étoiles. Les photos doivent être actualisées, la table et chaises ne correspondent pas à la réalité. Le garde-corps sur la terrasse (comme déjà mentionné dans un autre commentaire) est bas et dangereux pour des enfants. L'accès unique à la résidence depuis la zone piétonne est étroit (2.3m max).

Leider verfügt die Wohnung über keine Klimaanlage. Mit geschlossenen Fenstern wäre die Wohnung sehr gut schallgedichtet. Bei hohen Temperaturen kann aber nicht mit geschlossenen Fenstern geschlafen werden. Unverständlich ist: Die Polizei fährt in der Fussgängerzone tagsüber geschätzte jede halte Stunde streife. Wo aber ist die Polizei bei dem Nachtlärm (lautes Gegröle und Geschrei bis in die Morgenstunden z.B.bis 03.30 Uhr)? Kurtaxe wofür? - keine gratis Busfahrten wie bei Buchung Hotel.

Alles in Ordnung. Für ein sehr gut fehlten uns: - Abwaschmaschine - Terassengeländer zu niedrig. Sehr gefährlich aus unserer Sicht und zwar nicht nur für Kinder. - Wegbeschreibung hat Berbesserungspotential: Handhabung der Poller war unklar (welche Taste man drücken muss)

Die Wohnung war sauber und von der Lage her sehr schön. Leider sind die Möbel (Sofa, Sessel, Bett) durchgesessen, schmuddelig und unbequem was sehr schade ist. Da die Wohnung selber sehr schön ist.

We spent three nights in Apt 7, which boasts a simply spectacular view over Ascona and a panorama of Lago Maggiore, from a covered balcony. This view is the main reason to rent this apartment. The apartment was clean and functional, but in very basic for the tariff. There is no microwave, dishwasher, toaster or hairdryer, furnishings are dated, bed is basic but mattress firm enough. Bathroom is new-ish and shower pressure good. Would recommend only with the reservations listed above.

Wie jedes Jahr einfach toll im Miralago! Diese Wohnung hat einen grossen Balkon mit toller Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore. Die Innenausstattung ist eher dürftig, doch die Aussicht macht das wett. Das Personal vor Ort ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
